As an Enterprise Sales Development Representative at Virta Health, you are on the front lines of evangelizing Virta’s message around diabetes reversal. Each health plan you speak with has the potential to offer our life-saving treatment to thousands of people; it’s your job to get them to listen.

To do this effectively, you will be a results-oriented, hardworking individual who can exceed target goals in each quarter.  You will be someone who is comfortable working in a high-performing, fast-paced, challenging environment. You will be comfortable communicating the value of Virta to HR and benefits leaders, and qualifying them as prospective partners for our enterprise sales team. 


  • Qualify active leads via phone and e-mail communication with key decision makers
  • Exceed quota on Sales Qualified Leads each month  
  • Develop strong internal relationships with the sales and marketing teams 
  • Execute on a clear strategic plan to increase Sales Qualified Leads for the team
  • Create new and innovative ways to drive interest in Virta and progress enterprise deals forward 

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:

  • Learn and present the value of Virta clearly and concisely to external decision makers 
  • Build and implement a strategy to increase SQLs for the Sales team 
  • Set up a repetitive process to ensure ongoing success in qualifying Sales Qualified Leads 
  • Develop strong internal relationships within the sales team and across the company


  • Proven track record of routinely exceeding inside sales / sales development quota 
  • Knowledge and experience in healthcare or benefits space
  • Ready and excited to communicate the value of Virta Health to C-suite decision makers and translate leads into viable prospects for the Sales team 
  • Willing to roll up sleeves and add value to all aspects of a fast growing company
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and highly team-oriented
  • Able to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
  • Experience with employee benefits or HR solutions preferred
  • 2+  years of relevant experience in inside sales or sales development
  • Minimum education requirements - undergraduate degree
