What is this role about:

The Sales Account Manager will be the owner of a portfolio of RapidSOS’s strategic clients, ensuring they are maximizing the value of our technology. You will be responsible for building rich relationships within each partner organization as well as develop additional partner interest in various RapidSOS initiatives. This is an opportunity to bring your skills as a consultant, business analyst, project manager and sales professional to help accelerate the growth of our portfolio. This role is primarily based in New York with significant travel opportunities to visit customers on-site.

What you’ll do if chosen for this role:

  • Make it your mission to create an exceptional experience for our top strategic customers
  • Project manage implementations of new customers by coordinating with internal departments; product management, engineering, and sales team to meet contractual launch and feature milestones
  • Accelerate RapidSOS revenue by assisting partner companies’ growth
  • Be primary communicator to partner for RapidSOS
  • Be the primary advocate for a partner in addressing any raised issues/questions
  • Identify, track and coordinate all initiatives and actions associated with partner
  • Summarize activities for weekly Major Account review
  • Develop relationship management plan, mapping partner contacts to RapidSOS Leadership
  • Capture and summarize the “mapping” of partner needs to RapidSOS current and road mapped capabilities and products

Experience and Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in customer success, implementation, change management, or continuous improvement role
  • Significant customer interaction and a strong interest in building relationships
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to senior leadership, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with technical products
  • Ability to travel 25% to meet with partners and the development of relationships with primary partner contacts
  • Bachelor's degree
