Anjuna is looking for motivated and talented Sales Development Representatives to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility is to help turn prospects into qualified opportunities. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills to generate new opportunities.The successful candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also have Enterprise and SaaS sales experience developing pipeline, meet quotas and looking to grow into AE positions. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you hand over the customer to an Account Executive.
- Promoting and marketing through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails and communication(s) to prospective clients
- Scheduling demo meetings for the Sales Team
- Quickly learn the Anjuna products, effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections and competitive questions
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities
- Disseminate opportunities to appropriate AE, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity
- Maintaining all contacts/opportunities and recording all progress in CRM
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Researching and evaluating additional leads/prospects through web research
- 2-3 years of proven excellence in business development, inside sales and/or sales to Enterprise SaaS companies
- Experience using Hubspot or comparable CRM
- Strong understanding of SDR and lead development best practices and procedures
- Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process
- 100% reliable and detail-oriented. A drive to execute flawlessly.
