Artificial’s team is comprised of experts in life sciences, robotics, automation, and data, who have built digital tools and platforms for Space X ground control, CERN hadron collider, LEGO Mindstorms, and more. As we support and deploy our platform to customers, we’re looking for motivated people who are passionate about solving real-world problems and ready to make an impact. 
Artificial is looking for a dynamic and motivated Chief of Staff who will be critical in growing our team and company! You will partner closely with Artificial’s CEO to build a high-performing and efficient company and organization. You will be responsible for overseeing People Ops, Finance, Legal, and Administrative functions. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact at a fast-growing start-up while gaining experience in all areas of business operations. 


      • Oversee the People Operations of the company by creating a welcoming and engaging employee experience from onboarding to offboarding for a distributed team 
      • Ensure a seamless and spectacular candidate experience by building and managing the full-cycle recruiting process from posting jobs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and closing candidates 
      • Champion our company culture and employee engagement by planning and managing team events 
      • Oversee the financial operations of the company including managing budgets, modeling financials, maintaining AR and AP, processing payroll, and reporting 
      • Support the CEO by managing his calendar, drafting external and internal communications, preparing board meeting presentations, leading internal meetings such as All-Hands, and maintaining documentation and databases 
      • Work closely with the Managing Director of Artificial’s German subsidiary to ensure efficient and transparent HR, legal, and financial operations 
      • Work with external legal teams to manage immigration, IP, and compliance 
      • Be the first line of support to the team after return-to-work
      • Enable the CEO and team by providing administrative support as needed


    • At least 3 years of experience in a business, operations, or program management role
    • Self-starter that is great at multi-tasking and prioritization 
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • High level of integrity and professionalism 
    • Comfortable working with a distributed team 
    • Advanced proficiency in software such as GSuite, Microsoft Office, Notion
